I have been given a gift and in return I want to share my gift with the world. I have been asked all my life to draw things for people. Here you will see some of my work. When I draw something just for that person I keep it personal. No copies are made, I do keep record though. I hope you like what you see, I would be happy to do something special for you!
Dancing with Holy Spirit
I was asked by a dear friend to create a piece that would inspire her. She is pursuing the art of Ballet late in life. She also wanted something good inspiring. So I added the dove and for some reason thought more of the Holy Spirit. I believe that the Holy Spirit guides us to our true destiny. The plan that God had before the earth was created. It also helps us to stay focused on the Lord and to follow our true hearts desires. The actual drawing is much brighter. The original piece is 18 x 24 inches, I used chalk pastels (from Hobby Lobby 7.99 + tax for a set of 24) and I used Strathmore drawing paper. My friend was very pleased and I even got to help her pick a picture frame.. I really hope it keeps her inspired.
Jumping in the Lavender
December 31, 2014
I just finished another commission of three dogs playing in a lavender field. During this summer I had the great honor of getting to know a wonderful woman named Linda. She has a lavender farmed called Sleepy Hollow located in Dixie, WA, just outside of Walla Walla, WA. During the spring and summer months on every Saturday we would set up at the Walla Walla Valley Farmers Market and sell our wonderful things. I really enjoyed visiting with her and she is the nicest person you'd ever meet. She asked me if I would be interested in painting her three dogs as a memorial to them. This is what I created. This is a 18 x 24 inch acrylic painting on stretched canvas. Enjoy!

Oiler Dad
I was asked to do a small drawing for a friends father. She told me that he was an oiler and wanted something to go along with his tattoo on his arm. The tattoo was a wrench with the word oiler written on the handle. After doing some research on the job, dad, and some designs out on the web. I came up with this drawing. It's on a 9 x 12 inch sheet of drawing paper. I used pencil, graphite, color pencil, pen, and ink. I used my husband to model for the hand also. I haven't found out how he liked the drawing. But I'm sure it was a hit.

The Three Hunting Dogs
This commission was a true challenge, the client wanted 3 of her husbands hunting dogs drawn in color pencil in one drawing. It took about 2 months total to finish. It took me a while, but there was a large time frame for delivery. I also matted and framed this piece, Brandy and I went to Hobby Lobby and picked out the frame and matte colors. I want to thank Brandy Burlow for allowing me to do this for her husband. Brandy gave it to her husband for Christmas and shared a video of his reaction. It about made me cry. I know when I get reactions like that, that it was a job well done.
Riley
Here is a drawing I did for a friend. This little pup is names Riley and a wonderful friend of mine adopted him from the shelter. Riley has been a blessing to my friend also. She has health issues and has seizures, but Riley is great he stay's by her side and licks her until her seizures are over. I'm so happy to have been given the opportunity to draw this great dog and make a new friend! Thank you Tami!
I created this Seahawk picture for Jeff's birthday, a request by his loving wife. He sure looks happy and I think it will look great with his collection. I can create something special for that special person in your life. This is a 18 x 14 inch acrylic painting.
On May 11, 2014, Mother's Day, I decided to paint my late Grandmother Peggy Noel in a watercolor. The image is from her high school black and white senior picture below. She adored lilac's and helped to encourage my art. I gave this to my mother and the reaction was overwhelming for everyone and we all were crying. It was a beautiful experience.
Prevent Homeless Pets Project
On 5/6/2014 I finished a project for Prevent Homeless Pets in Benton City, Washington. Prevent Homeless Pets or PHP for short is a non-profit organization that helps to spay and neuter animals in the area at no to low costs. The people who work and volunteer for PHP are amazing and it is an honor to donate these window paintings to them. I also had help from 2 great people, my 6 year old son and Dylan a 16 year old that is getting mentoring lessons from myself. I appreciate the opportunity and I hope this will open up new doors in the future.

The You Tube video below is a commission work. The acrylic painting measures 24 x 36 inches on stretched canvas and took about 2 weeks to complete.
"Petey Dog" 8 x 10 inch graphite drawing. I drew this with the intentions of donating it to the ASAP Fundraiser for the Richland Washington Animal Shelter. Prints are available on www.fineartamerica.com. I can do animal portraits for your fur baby also, just send me a message if you would like something done. Something this size would be $45.00 that includes taxes, shipping, and handling costs. The best way to get a hold of me is through email [email protected].
In this picture the person is a huge Chicago Blackhawks fan, the actual size of the drawing is 8.5" x 6" and its all done with color pencil.
This was for a dear friend of mine, I combined a heart with the pink breast cancer ribbon.
